Questions
Does Packtrail pay out if I lose a claim?
No. Packtrail is an evidence tool. It helps you show what you packed and when; Whatnot decides every claim under its own policies.
What proof does Whatnot ask for?
For missing high-value cards from breaks, Whatnot's help center asks for continuous video of the card being packed, the package sealed and the label applied, kept at least 75 days, and says photos alone aren't enough. That's why Packtrail records a packing video (up to 60 seconds) for every order.
Is Packtrail part of Whatnot?
No. Packtrail is independent. It reads your orders through Whatnot's official Seller API with a token you create, or from the CSV reports you download. It never posts or changes anything on Whatnot.
Who can see my photos and videos?
Only you, unless you send a Claim Kit link. Each link is private, unguessable and expires after 30 days, and you can turn it off at any time.
How long is media kept?
120 days on Free and 365 days on Pro, longer than the 75 days Whatnot asks for. Media on an order with an open claim is kept until the claim is resolved.
Can I cancel Pro?
Yes, anytime from Manage billing. You keep Pro until the end of the month you've paid for, and your existing proof and Claim Kits stay.
